Noe, a beautiful, intelligent, and restless young woman from the provinces, rejects the arranged marriage her family has planned and breaks free from this imposed destiny to build her own independent life in Tokyo. In the capital, she meets the editors and writers of the feminist magazine Seito and comes into contact with anarchist circles. And, almost unintentionally, the young Noe Ito ends up becoming a symbol of both movements, a path that will not be without scandal, controversy, and sacrifice.
