Philippe Joron is a Professor-Researcher and Chair of Sociology, and Director of the Laboratoire d'Études Interdisciplinaires sur le Réel et les Imaginaires Sociales (LEIRIS) at Paul-Valéry University in Montpellier, France. He is a leading contemporary thinker whose academic work focuses on the analysis of social, cultural, and symbolic dynamics, exploring how societies construct and reinterpret collective realities and imaginaries.
