
Nature has provided humanity with opportunities for survival: abundant water, fertile lands, and materials for clothing and housing. The capitalist mode of production, which has prevailed for five centuries, is in crisis. The transnational corporations that sustain it, while producing useful and profitable goods, also produce harmful ones, requiring combustion that generates greenhouse gases. These gases cause global warming and, consequently, the calamities that result from it.
