Laboria Cuboniks

Laboria Cuboniks (2014) is the name of the xenofeminist collective formed by Diann Bauer, Helen Hester, Amy Ireland, Patricia Reed, Katrina Burch, and Lucca Fraser. In 2015, they launched the manifesto *Xenofeminism: A Politics of Alienation*, translated into 18 languages online, which quickly became a global phenomenon both within and beyond academic theory. Spread across five countries and three continents, its authors have continued, separately (and sometimes together), the work begun with Laboria Cuboniks, exploring the fields of art, design, architecture, philosophy, digital music, experimental poetry, evolutionary algorithms, and post-cybernetic theory. Their ideas surrounding technomaterialism, antinaturalism, and gender politics are a touchstone for the 21st-century avant-garde.
