The Mar Menor is a natural space of great beauty, but also an amalgamation of biological systems, social structures, affective networks, economic flows, extractive practices, ways of life, pollution, balances, and imbalances. At a time of serious environmental deterioration of the lagoon, this publication documents the development of Mar Menor Lab, an artistic research project deployed through the articulation of diverse knowledge and collaboration between artists and scientists, proposing the construction of new narratives for the territory understood as a fluid space of coexistence and conflict.
