Coreth Emerich (1919 - 2006), was born in Raabs an der Thaya (Austria). In 1937 he joined the Jesuits in 1950 and his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Gregorian University in Rome. Since 1955, the year he was appointed professor of Christian philosophy at the Faculty of Theology at Innsbruck, teaching and exercised various responsibilities until his death in the same city.
