The shadow of the Supreme delvs into the only contingency that the West cannot admit: that deception comes from God. No longer of the artful enemy that after Lucifer's fall camps on earth, neither of chance or necessity, not even of nature hidden behind phenomena, but directly and plainly of the First Cause: of the original will of the Maker. From the Deus Prudens or Wise God who out of compassion hides the truth from humans to the Creator who femes the world with a yawn caused by the tedium of his loneliness; from the Yahweh who sends the devil or the serpent to deceive his creatures with subtle celts to Theos Agnostos or Unknown God that allows the demiurge to raise an infamous universe, the falsehood of the world would be only the inevitable shadow of the Supreme.
