The aim is to re-legitimize the very notion of the artwork, which many contemporary authors either refuse to address or relegate to oblivion. The word "artwork" itself seems, in fact, antiquated; it evokes too much an object, a museum piece, and instead, terms like interventions, proposals, performances, and installations are preferred. And yet, the artwork, by its very nature and scope, possesses a solidity that allows it to endure over time and withstand the omnipresence of mass-produced goods.
