The philosophical essays that comprise this work are the product of lectures and essays written by the author over many years. In his various dissertations, he covers topics ranging from French existentialism to the philosophy of Bergson; the poetry of Mallarmé and the phenomenology of Heidegger; the romanticism of Bachelard and the early works of Hegel; and even addresses "The Myth of Origin" in Plato and the science of knowledge in Fichte and Husserl.
This volume opens with the article "From Bergsonism to Existentialism," in which the author develops the theory of harmonious growth in Bergsonian philosophy, liberating an entire generation imprisoned by a false conception of science.
