Sofía Morfín Jean. Mexico City, 1992. In 2021, she graduated from the Creative Writing Diploma program at SOGEM and currently works as a screenwriter for film and television. Big Bang Bermellón is her first collection of short stories. She won the 2023 Gilberto Owen National Literature Prize for Narrative. She has also published other short stories and opinion pieces in Tierra Adentro, C de Cultura, and Mi Valedor.
