
Rafael Castro Rodríguez holds a degree in History from the Complutense University of Madrid and specializes in Modern History. He has worked in major archives in Spain, including the General Archive of the Indies, the Simancas Archive, the National Library, the National Historical Archive, and the Royal Academy of History, among others. He is the author of the book "Matanzas 1628" about the capture of Juan de Benavides Bazán's New Spain fleet.
