
Pedro Enrique García Ruiz holds a degree in Philosophy from the Autonomous Metropolitan University (UAM), and a master's and doctorate in Philosophy from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He completed postdoctoral studies at the Complutense University of Madrid and at the Institute of Philological Research at UNAM. He is a full-time Professor C in the Philosophy Department of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at UNAM and a member of the National System of Researchers (Level II). His main lines of research are: 1. Practical rationality and contemporary moral philosophy; 2. Phenomenology, hermeneutics, and critical theory; 3. Theories of subjectivity and philosophy of neuroscience.
