Patrick Winn

Patrick Winn is an investigative journalist specializing in the world of guerrillas and drug traffickers in Southeast Asia.

His work has appeared in numerous media outlets—The New York Times, NPR, and the BBC—and he has received the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award (also known as the "Poor Man's Pulitzer"), as well as a National Press Club Award. He has been awarded Amnesty International's Human Rights Press Award three times, among other accolades.

He is currently the Southeast Asia correspondent for The World, which airs on NPR member stations across the United States.
