
Mira Milosevich was born in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1966 and graduated in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Belgrade. Since 1996, she has lived in Madrid, where she earned her doctorate in European Studies from the Complutense University. She has taught at the Ortega y Gasset University Institute. Currently, she is a professor at the School of International Relations at IE University and a Senior Research Fellow at the Elcano Royal Institute for the areas of Russia, Eastern Europe, and the Balkans. She frequently contributes to print and television media as a political analyst. She has published in Spain *The Sad Ones and the Heroes: Stories of Serbian Nationalists* (2000) and *The Wheat of War: Nationalism and Violence in Kosovo* (2001). She is also the author of numerous essays in specialized journals and edited volumes, including *History of the Nation and of Spanish Nationalism* (2013) and *A Brief History of the Russian Revolution* (2017), both published by Galaxia Gutenberg.
