
Liliana Cristina Cinetto was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is a primary school teacher, literature professor, writer, and storyteller.
As an educator, she has taught in primary schools and has led training courses and workshops in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Portugal, and the Dominican Republic.
As an author, she has published more than 100 children's books. She has also published short stories and poems in anthologies published by Editorial Norma Kapelusz, Edelvives, Edebé, Estrada, Aique, Santillana (Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia), Marenostrum (Chile), Norma (Puerto Rico and the USA), and S.M. (Spain and Puerto Rico), Everest (Spain), Cajasur (Spain), McGraw-Hill (United States), Tinta Fresca, Puerto de Palos, Grupo Cinco Editores and theoretical articles in the magazines Mnemosine (Spain), Para la Libertad, Ludo, Ser y expresión docente and in the Cultural Bulletin of A.E.P.A.
