Joan Fontcuberta

Joan Fontcuberta is a creator, teacher, critic, exhibition curator, and historian specializing in photography. A visiting professor at universities in Spain, France, Great Britain, and the United States, he regularly contributes to specialized publications. He is the author of a dozen books on the history and essays of photography, including *The Kiss of Judas: Photography and Truth* (1997), *Science and Friction* (1998), and *Pandora's Camera* (2010). His work has been collected and exhibited in art and science museums worldwide, from the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York to the Science Museum in London. In 2013, he was awarded the Hasselblad International Award.
