
Jens Schröter is a professor of media studies at the University of Bonn, Germany. His research addresses the history and theory of media, three-dimensional technical images, and new aesthetics of visuality. Author of seminal works such as *3D: History, Theory, and Aesthetics of the Transplanar Technical Image* and *Media Futures: Theory and Aesthetics*, Schröter combines historical, technological, and artistic analysis to explore how images and media transform our perception of space and contemporary society.
