Hilda Botero Cadavid, a Colombian psychologist and psychoanalyst, teaches at the Master's program in Clinical Psychoanalysis at the Javeriana University in Bogotá, Colombia. A member of the Colombian Psychoanalytic Association (APC) and the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA), she devotes much of her work to clinical practice as well as to advising newborn units and mother-baby-kangaroo programs in hospitals in the Colombian capital. She is the co-founder and former coordinator of the Latin American Association of Baby Observers, Bick Method (ALOBB). Her most recent visit to Mexico was in 2016 to Guadalajara, Jalisco, where she participated in the Symposium on Childhood and Adolescence convened by FEPAL. In 2014, she was published in Cuadernos de psicoanálisis (Psychoanalysis Notebooks) of the Mexican Psychoanalytic Association (APM).
