Esteban Martínez Sifuentes (Cerritos, San Luis Potosí, 1960) is a graduate of the Writers' School of the General Society of Writers of Mexico (SOGEM). He coordinated the cultural supplement Cal y Canto for El Heraldo de San Luis Potosí (1986-1987) and contributed to the Comala supplement and the cultural section of El Financiero (1992), among others. As a federal employee, he was in charge of publications for the Directorate of Justice of the National Indigenous Institute (1999-2003) and coordinated the monthly magazine Eco for the National Institute of Indigenous Languages ​​(2010-2018). He has published short stories, research, essays, and a novel. His latest book is USA! USA! (Almuzara México, 2024, essay).
