Esteban Magnani (1973) holds a degree in Communication Sciences (University of Buenos Aires) and an MA in Media & Communication (London University). He teaches at the University of Buenos Aires and the National University of Rafaela (UNRaf), where he directed the Bachelor's Degree Program in Audiovisual and Digital Media from 2016 to 2021. He is a journalist specializing in technology and has published in Página/12, Acción, El Dipló, Anfibia, NUSO, Cenital, and other media outlets. He hosted the technology segment on the TV Pública news program (2012-2015) and the 2020 series (2015) for TecTV. He is the author of several books on the history of science. For years, he has focused on the impact of digital technology on society and has condensed his research in "Tension in the Net" (2014) and "The Comfort Cage" (2019).
