Bora Chung (Seoul, 1976) is a prominent South Korean writer, translator, and academic, internationally recognized for her short story collection, Rabbit Curse (2022), a finalist for the International Booker Prize that blends horror, science fiction, and fable to critique patriarchy and capitalism. She lives in Pohang, translates Slavic literature, and subverts the everyday with the grotesque.
