
Bily López González holds a PhD in Philosophy from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he is a full-time professor in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters. His research interests include ontology, hermeneutics, philosophy of culture, and philosophy of language. He is a member of the International Chair of Critical Hermeneutics, HERCRITIA, based in Madrid. Together with Alejandra Rivera, he coordinates the Transversal Research Group on Biopolitics and Necropolitics at the Autonomous University of Mexico City (UACM). He is an internal tutor in the Master's and Doctoral Programs in Philosophy at UNAM. He is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI), Level 1, and a member of the editorial board of Heterotopías-Journal of Urban Studies at UACM.
