Angel Gabilondo Pujol (San Sebastian, March 1, 1949) is a Spanish politician and university professor. Between 2009 and 2011 he was Minister of Education replaces Mercedes Cabrera. Until then he was rector of the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), a member of the Philosophy Department of the Faculty of Arts of the university and chairman of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE).
