Sri Ramana Maharshi is one of the most important spiritual figures of the 20th century. His message of self-knowledge constitutes a central expression of one of the pillars of Sophia Pedrennis: the identity between the atman, the deepest nucleus of the soul of man, and Divinity, a doctrine that we find expressed in different ways in the Hindu Advaita Vedanta, in the teaching of Master Eckhart, or in the doctrine of the Wahdat al-Wujud (Uniqueness of Being) of Sufism, for example.
