I don't understand women is a controversial book. This is shown in the prologues that accompany this edition; it had not yet been published and was already causing controversy for its content. Many of the stories and short stories that make it up have been considered transgressive by some of the more traditional Judeo-Christian consciences. In the first of the five chapters of this book, And there was light, the literary character of the Bible and the texts of the Hebrew imaginary are recovered to make them profane; heretical some would say. This book offers us a multiplicity of readings: the irreverent, the graphic, the intertextual, the playful and the reflective, which bring us closer to the most diverse artistic manifestations and link us with understanding; not only of women, but with that of everything human.
