«How to design a breakfast that ends up in a book?». The question that Ilana Boltvinik asks in the presentation of this volume is not a playful interpellation. The question arises as part of an intense dialogue that took place throughout 2018 in the Oblique Objects Laboratory, a meeting space that was articulated through a series of monthly breakfasts with the purpose of generating reflections that transit between the world of objects and that of parasites.
This is how mala HIERBA never dies (tentative title) is proposed as a "social experiment" where the collaborations that compose it interpenetrate to reflect on the alternate materialities in current socio-aesthetic practices. The reader's participation is constantly appealed to delocalize the materialities that surround him and observe them through the qualities of the parasites.
