This is not only the first Spanish edition of Dante's poetry but also the first modern edition worldwide of the Book of Songs, which proposes a novel scientific hypothesis arising from the conclusions of Domenico De Robertis: the existence of a songbook composed by Dante himself. Around the Book of Songs, and as the backbone, the rest of the added corpus is structured, which serves to give a complete panorama of the poetry of the Florentine after the New Life, that is, from the mid-nineties to the beginning of the Comedy, a decisive period in the poetic and ideological evolution of the author.

Introduced, translated and annotated by prestigious danthologists of the Societat Catalana dEstudis Dantescos and the Complutense Association of Dantology, this work will provide lovers of poetry in general, and Dante in particular, with a new knowledge of the rich and complex universe of the great Italian poet.
