The first volume presents a general introduction, the Old Kingdom texts and the legal ones. In the second, from the Middle and New Kingdom and those referring to the Greeks. The authors, Alberto Bernabé and Juan Antonio Álvarez-Pedrosa, professors at the Complutense University and members of the Center for Near Eastern Studies, have intended that the book be accessible to non-specialist readers interested in the Near East.
