This work brings together the pieces of the puzzle that constitutes the biography of María del Refugio García Martínez (Cuca García). The book unravels the existence of Cuca García with the keys to participation in the revolutionary movement of 1910; her communist militancy identified with the insurrection of the world proletariat advocated by the Bolshevik revolution and her firm conviction in defense of women's rights. She was part of a generation compelled to destroy the old Porfirista regime and build a left-wing alternative as part of a national project, at the same time that the process of institutionalization of the Mexican revolution was taking place.
