Takatuka

Takatuka wants to be the island where those people who think that reading should be a means to entertain but also the opportunity to reflect, mature and walk towards a better world will find land. At Takatuka we have taken children very seriously, and we have wanted to facilitate dialogue between adults and children, making books available to them that allow them to better understand the world in which they are going to grow up, and that are useful, at the same time, adults to address issues that are not always easy to put into words. We trust in the ability of boys and girls to understand certain situations that they often have to face anyway.

Our books talk about people's ability to overcome themselves, about the perniciousness of prejudice, about how to face one's own fears or how to face death in a close and non-painful way.
