Museo Iconografico del Quijote

The editorial vocation of the Don Quixote Iconographic Museum (MIQ) has been present since its foundation, in 1987, the year in which the beginnings of the International Cervantine Colloquium also germinated, a meeting of specialists that, like no other, constitutes a fundamental piece for contemporary research on the Quixote and the Cervantes. The worldwide accreditation of the Cervantine company in Guanajuato begins to consolidate with the emergence, in 2003, of the Center for Cervantine Studies. This intellectual enterprise, to which its founder Eulalio Ferrer Rodríguez gave all his efforts, soon bore literary fruits: the publication of the reports of each of the colloquiums, which to date total XXIX editions and gather more than 300 keynote speeches.
