Sergio Chejfec

He is the author of narrative and essay. Between 1990 and 2005 he lived in Caracas; and since then he has lived in New York, where he teaches classes in the Master of Creative Writing in Spanish at New York University. He was awarded a grant from the Guggenheim Foundation in 2001, and among other distinctions, he has been a writer-in-residence for the Civitella Ranieri Foundation in 2007. His books have been translated into French, English, German, Portuguese, Hebrew and Turkish.
