Oscar Ugarteche Galarza (Lima, 1949), doctor in Philosophy and History from the University of Bergen, is an economist, writer, professor and senior researcher at the Economic Research Institute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Among his most recent publications are The Great Mutation.
