Nicolas Dickner

Nicolas Dickner (1972, Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec, Canada) studied Fine Arts and Literature before traveling through Latin America and Europe and perform the most diverse trades. Also author of short stories, became known to the general public thanks to his first novel Nikolski (2005), which garnered rave reviews and a number of literary awards both in the original French and English version. Revelation for beginners is his second novel and was a finalist of the Grand Literary Prize Archambault, and is being published in several languages. Nicolas Dickner currently lives with his family in Montreal and is a literary critic and columnist in the alternative weekly Voir.
