Marta D. Riezu was born in a still industrial Terrassa. Her sources of income come from cinema, music, fashion and television, because she does not expect much from literature. She has written cultural articles for El País, El Mundo, La Vanguardia, Telva, Vogue, Purple, Apartamento or Vanity Fair. She lives in Barcelona and leads the old-fashioned and quiet life that she always dreamed of. In Anagrama she has published La moda faira and Agua y soap.
