Javier Alonso López (Madrid, 1967) has a degree in Semitic Philology, DEA in Ancient History, and a Master's degree in Languages and Cultures of the Ancient Near East, all from the Complutense University. His professional career develops in several different areas. He is a writer, translator, lecturer, archaeological travel guide and professor of Spanish for Foreigners at the IE Business School and the IE University. He is the author of several books, articles and stories on topics related especially to Ancient History and Archaeology, or History in general. He is a regular contributor to various radio and television programs that deal with issues of history or religion, especially SER Historia, on Cadena Ser.
