Amia Srinivasan, born in Bahrain in 1984 and raised in London, New York, Singapore and Taiwan, is Professor of Political and Social Theory, Feminist Theory and Epistemology at All Souls College, Oxford, and Visiting Professor at University College London, Yale, NYU and UCLA. She has written about topics such as sex, death, suicide, anguish, education and animals, and her texts have appeared in media such as The London Review of Books, The New Yorker, The New York Review of Books, The New York Times, The Times Literary Supplement, Harper's, The Nation and TANK.
