Alejandra Labastida

Alejandra Labastida. She was born in Mexico City, in 1979. She is a curator of contemporary art. She currently serves as the adjunct curator of the MUAC. She has a bachelor's degree in History from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a master's degree in Art History from UNAM. In 2013 she received the ICI/SAHA Research Award and in 2012 she was the winner of the Akbank Sanat International Curatorial Competition in Istanbul. She was an assistant curator at the Mexican Pavilion at the 54th. edition of the Venice Biennale and she has published in several contemporary art catalogs and magazines.
