Porta Lourdes Fuentes (La Bisbal del Penedes, Tarragona, 1961) has a degree in Contemporary History from the University of Barcelona (1984). He has studied Japanese language in the Official School of Languages & in Barcelona (1984 - 1988) and Kirisutokyo Kokusai Daigaku University (Tokyo, 1993 and 1994). In 1989 he was invited to hear the Japan Foundation Japanese Language Institute Japanese based Kitaurawa (Japan). He teaches Japanese at the Official School of Languages & in Barcelona since 1993. Rashomon has translated into Catalan and the fil de l'aranya of Ryunosuke Akutagawa (1998).
